When I found this recipe on Holistics website, I immediately wanted to try it. Sounds too good to be true! They were so good, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I used coconut oil flavored with coconut and I think it gave a yummy taste to the waffles. These contain no sugar, but if you want a little more sweetness, you can add eg. maple syrup. I made small waffles and therefore got three, but the recipe is for one round waffle.
Hälsosamma Våfflor
1 pc
3 msk havremjöl eller annat glutenfritt mjöl
1 msk psylliumfröskal
2 msk chiafrön
1 nypa salt
1 msk kokosolja
1 dl kokhett vatten
1 krm kardemumma
Blanda mjöl, psylliumfröskal och chia i en skål. Häll sedan
i kokosolja, hett vatten och kardemumma och blanda. Låt blandningen stå i 10
minuter. Ta lite kokosolja i våffeljärnet och pressa ut degen så mycket som
möjligt.
Healthy Waffles
1 pc
3 tbsp oat flour or another gluten-free flour
1 tbsp psyllium husk
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 pinch of salt
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 dl boiling water
1 pinch of cardamom
Mix flour, psyllium husk and chia in a bowl. Pour in coconut
oil, hot water and cardamom and mix. Let the mixture stand for 10 minutes. Take
a little coconut oil in the waffle iron and press out the dough as much as
possible. Bake until crispy.
